Live Edge, Rustic Oak and Resin Kitchen Table | Case Study
LONDON, UK

A bespoke, modern – rustic live edge solid wood dining table with bark edges delicately infused, and preserved with resin for our London-based customer. The radiant warmth of English sessile oak elegantly illuminates the interior of a charming home in the heart of the capital. Our signature resin infill technique preserves the earthy® knots and rustic imperfections of the wide stave, rustic, full of charm and character wood planks. Our natural blend of fragrant oils provides a touch of raw appeal to the live edge dining table top, accentuating the natural wood grain, patterns and striations. This full stave live edge wood table top is complemented by a pair of robust, individually calibrated, U-shaped table steel legs with a graphite finish.
Our waney edge timber slabs are obtained directly from sustainable sources in Europe and the UK. The timber is then kiln dried in-house to below 10% moisture content using the precise wood vacuum kiln drying process, thus maximising stability of the live edge wooden table. Finally, the dried live edge oak slabs are taken to our Sussex baseds workshop and handcrafted by our experts. All in-house.
